Blacklist is useful application for Android that lets you filter calls and text messages from phone numbers you want to avoid.
The app gets the job done, but has a slightly confusing and unnatural user interface, causing some problems along the way. It needs a revamp in terms of GUI and general aesthetics.
Besides blocking these numbers, you can also filter calls from unknown and hidden numbers so no one can bother you. You can do it in many different ways, like hanging up the call after the first ring or simply rejecting the call with a voice message that tells the person calling that you are not available or you don’t have service.
With Blacklist, you can track the number of calls and messages that unwanted users send you. They will never know that you’ve blocked them; instead, they will just think your phone is turned off.
If at some point you want to unblock someone, you just have to access your blacklist and delete the corresponding number there.
Blacklist does block unwanted calls from unknown numbers as well, which is great. It also has several settings and the customization is easy and yet flexible and large. This makes it a step ahead of it's competitors and also makes up for the confusing GUI.
