There was a time when Android built-in call app included a call recorder. However, it was removed and never heard from again. That was a really useful feature that Android users have missed for a long time… until now.
Call Recorder TR2 fix the “- No, you said that… – Well, I understood wrong…” problem. No more misunderstanding. No more Customer Service abuse. You can now record conversations for either remember appointments/To-Do or have evidences of threats/abuse.
From now on, when you receive/give a call, a 1×1 widget with two buttons (record & stop) will pop up over the calling screen. You can start/stop recording whenever you want, and then access recorded clips from the app.
Of course, you can also record simple voice clips.
You can manage all those clips from the app and filter them by calls IN/OUT, mic clips, etc. Actually, you can tweak the app at your whim from Settings (audio format, recording strategy, contact filtering, auto activate loudspeaker,…). It’s highly configurable.
IMPORTANT. The main catch is that TR2 doesn’t work well on some phones because they don’t support two-sided call recording. Rooting those device can improve it. Check out dev’s description to see the list of supported devices.
