Firefly Vapor Description
I don’t know where the bad reviews are coming from. The Firefly 2 is the best investment I’ve ever made. Conserves so much product, saving me hundreds of dollars in the long term. App works great. Here we provide Firefly Vapor V 2.1.2 for Android 5.0++ Firefly App 2.0 Highlights
A much wider selection of temperatures:
From 6 pre-set temperatures in the old app to 31 pre-sets in the new app (200-500°F by 10°F increments, or 5°C increments if you prefer celsius).
A streamlined app experience:
Connecting the app to the Firefly 2 has been integrated with the primary temperature control to get to the main activity more quickly. The slider is also more attractive and fun to use than the previous temperature selector.
A simplified "ready" indication:
The LED now pulses twice and turns solid green after a 3 second pre-heat the same way every time. This reduces ambiguity about when to start your draw. Start as soon as the LED turns solid green every time for the most consistent performance. We like to call it "LED, count to 3."
A quicker draw:
What used to take 10 seconds of inhalation time should now take about 7-8 seconds with the new firmware, requiring less effort for the same results. This is accomplished by increasing the power of the pre-heating stage and giving a more consistent indication to the user about when to start their draw. You can still start your draw any time you like of course, but for best results start as soon as the LED turns solid green.
Setting the temperature directly without the app:
Choose from 7 settings directly from the Firefly 2 (320, 340, 360, 380, 400, 420, 500°F)
More accurate temperatures:
Tested to within +/- 2° F
More consistent performance draw to draw:
Tested to within +/- 2° F
Battery Status Accuracy Improvements
We test and guarantee application stability on the following devices with Android version 5.0 and above:
• Samsung Galaxy Note 4
• Samsung S4
• Samsung S5
• LG G3 VS985 Verizon
• LG Google Nexus 5
• Nexus 6P
• Nexus 5X
• Moto G (2nd Gen)
• Sony Xperia Z3
• Google Pixel
Android 6.0 requires location services to be enabled before it will allow a phone to scan for Bluetooth LE devices.
We do not record or track location data, however the Firefly2 uses the Bluetooth LE interface to conserve power so we are required by Android to request those permissions.

Since the update, the app has been a lot better. Same goes for the overall user experience. Being able to set temperatures without the app, having actual temperatures inside the app, better vaping performance, etc. My only two gripes with the device (not the app) are: 1) The battery reading is incredibly unreliable. One moment it blinks blue twice, but when I try to take a hit, after a few seconds it blinks red. 2) For some reason, if the device is slightly cool (using it outside or just lying in a room that's not warm), it takes many tries to finally get a hit. It will start heating up, and then blink red after a few seconds. After many tries it will finally stay on for a whole hit. Once it's warmed up like that, subsequent hits are fine. But it's an annoying user experience.
